According to Variety, November 8th will see Jeopardy coming to DVD.

With talkshows hosted by Oprah Winfrey, Dick Cavett and others making their way to disc, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will introduce "Jeopardy!" as one of the first gameshows on DVD.

The release will feature some of the most-watched episodes from the long-running syndicated quiz program, including the episode featuring the debut of three-time Emmy-winning Alex Trebek as host in 1984, 20 years after the program was created in 1964 by Merv Griffin. Other episodes included are from the 74 programs during Ken Jennings' $2.5 million winning streak in 2004 and this year's Ultimate Tournament of Champions.

The DVD will feature behind-the-scenes featurettes about the show, which still draws more than 12 million viewers daily and has been the second-highest-rated series in syndication for 71 consecutive sweeps periods.

Another bonus feature will allow viewers to watch the show from five camera angles. Also included: featurettes "21 Years of Questions and Answers," "Behind the Answers" and "What Does It Take to Get a Clue."
