New details have been revealed regarding the accident that injured actor Jeremy Renner. On Sunday, it had been reported that Renner was airlifted to a hospital after suffering a "weather-related accident" while plowing snow. No other details about what happened were revealed, though it was noted that Renner was in "critical but stable condition" due to the accident. TMZ has reported new details of the accident, noting that he'd been airlifted at around 9:50 a.m. on Sunday morning shortly after the accident. Eyewitnesses told the outlet that Renner had been plowing the road near his home following a recent storm so his family would be able to get out. An accident somehow occurred resulting in the Snowcat he was using running over one of the Hawkeye star's legs. Renner was said to be bleeding heavily afterward, at which point a neighbor, who happens to be a doctor, applied a tourniquet to the injured leg to slow the bleeding. The actor's injuries are said to be "extensive," with other parts of his body injured in addition to his leg wound.Police impounded the Snowcat as they investigate the incident. They're looking to determine how the plowing machine had run over Renner, as there are supposed to be "extensive safety features" in place to prevent something like this from happening. TMZ reports that the first responders' audio revealed them to be concerned about not having access to the accident site due to the weather conditions.Renner has alluded to just how bad the snow had been in Lake Tahoe where the accident occurred. On Dec. 12, he tweeted an image of a vehicle completely buried in snow, showing that he had to dig to the door to get access."Lake Tahoe snowfall is no joke," Renner wrote.

That show's anticipated second season is set to arrive on Paramount+ on Jan. 15 following the recent release of the official trailer.
