CBS has gone ahead with a popular TV movie series before the latest installment has aired. According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS has greenlit production on a sixth Jesse Stone TV movie, entitled, Jesse Stone: No Remorse.

This film finds Stone (Tom Selleck) suspended by the town council after moonlighting for his buddy, State Homicide Commander Healy (Stephen McHattie), helping out during a string of mysterious murders in Boston.

Selleck wrote the script with Michael Brandman and Robert Harmon is directing. Kathy Baker, Kohl Sudduth, William Devane, William Sadler and Saul Rubinek will all reprise their roles from the series, while Krista Allen makes her first appearance in the series.

The TV movie has already started filming in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Airdates for this film and the fifth installment have yet to be determined.
