Jimmy Fallon is gearing up for his new hosting gig with some online shows. According to Variety, Fallon will start airing online webisodes on NBC.com, in preperation to take over Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

The websiodes will start airing on the site next week and will run about five minutes long apiece. It was said that the clips will vary from Fallon backstage at a stand-up gig, to Fallon exploring something he found on the streets or taking a look around his new offices.

NBC is expected to announce on Monday that Fallon will take over the show in early March, most likely March 2. This means O'Brien will likely be done in February, to prep for his new NBC hosting gig, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, taking over for Jay Leno. It was announced that O'Brien would take over the show on June 1.
