Jimmy Kimmel has signed on to host the new ABC game show, Set for Life for Endemol USA.

The late night host will start shooting the show next week which revolves around players who compete to win a monthly cash stipend that lasts as long as they live; the money can add up to millions of dollars, and the show will feature a last-minute twist that alters how much cash the players can take home, adds Variety.

Kimmel joked about the double duty; "I tried to tell ABC that it is too difficult to do a talkshow every night and an hourlong primetime show, too. Unfortunately, there's a 75-year-old man named Regis who seems to have no problem with it."

Endemol's other current game show, Deal or No Deal is returning to NBC for another go-round; also for NBC, Bob Saget will be hosting the upcoming game show 1 vs. 100.

Look for Set for Life later this fall on ABC. Jimmy hosts Jimmy Kimmel Live weeknights on the network.
