Just two days after both Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien announced their return to late night television, Jimmy Kimmel has announced that he is planning to do the same. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kimmel's show will be back on the air January 2nd.

Kimmel stated, "Though it makes me sick to do so without my writers, there are more than 100 people whose financial well-being depends on our show. It is time to go back to work. I support my colleagues and friends in the WGA completely and hope this ends both fairly and soon."

Those not yet set to return include David Letterman, Craig Ferguson, and the Comedy Central duo of Jon Steward and Stephen Colbert.
