J.J. Abrams and Mission: Impossible writers Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec are developing a new TV series for Lost stars Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson.

We first reported on this project last month, but at that time, it wasn't clear if this project was just something they had been in early discussions for. Now Vulture is reporting that this is actually in active development, and is being pitched to the networks. Not much is known about the series, except that it will center on two former black-ops agents, to be played by Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson.

Our previous report indicated that Michael Emerson wanted the project to reflect their, "age and frailty" and if their characters get punched in the face, "they won't get up for a month."

We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further details on this new TV project as soon as we have more information.
