John Cusack and Evan Peters have boarded the Treehouse Pictures and Anonymous Content comedy, Adult World. The project is directed by Scott Coffey from a script by Andrew Cochran.

The movie follows a recent college graduate who believes she's destined to be a great poet, instead winds up working for an adult book store.

Emma Roberts is playing 21-year old Amy Anderson, a recent college graduate with a degree in poetry. Convinced she is the next star in the literary world, moves back with her parents to write poetry - but with a stack of rejection letters, unpaid student loans, and no money, her parents force her to get a "real job." The only place that will hire her is an erotic bookstore called Adult World.

John Cusack plays Rat Billings, Amy's hero and mentor who was one of the greatest poets of the early '90s.

Production is already under way in Syracuse, New York.
