According to Variety, Elf helmer Jon Favreau has signed on to direct the pilot for ABC's In Case of Emergency. In addition to directing, Favreau will serve as exec producer on In Case of Emergency, which has landed a six-episode series order from ABC. Touchstone Television laffer comes from exec producers Emile Levisetti and scribe Howard Morris.
