John Goodman is in talks for a small but integral role in the upcoming comedy sequel The Hangover Part III. It is said to be one of the last main roles yet to be cast before production begins later this fall.

The actor will play an unspecified antagonist, similar to Paul Giamatti's minor role in The Hangover Part II. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis are returning as The Wolf Pack, with Mike Tyson, Ken Jeong, Mike Epps, Heather Graham, and Sasha Barrese reprising their roles from the first two installments.

Todd Phillips is directing from the screenplay he co-wrote with Craig Mazin. After taking the action to Thailand in The Hangover Part II, the sequel comes full circle, returning back to Las Vegas.
