It seems that the son of an infamous mobster will be telling his tale in a number of different formats. Deadline New York is reporting that John Gotti Jr., son of gangster John Gotti, is setting up deals for a new book, documentary and feature film to be based on his family life.

It was said that Gotti Jr.'s story will revolve around growing up in a mob family and how he followed in his father's footsteps to become a mob leader himself. Gotti Jr. has long said that he gave up the criminal life in 1999, and federal prosecutors recently revealed they would not seek a fifth trial against Gotti Jr., after the first four rounds resulted in mistrials.

Gotti Jr. will set up these projects through the New York-based Triplicity Entertainment, to whom he was said to give his full cooperation in the development of these upcoming projects. One of the heads of Triplicity is Tony D'Aiuto, who was one of Gotti Jr.'s attorney's who successfully defended him at his last trial.

The documentary will be completed by spring of 2011, even though a director hasn't been chosen for the film yet.
