The first season of Glee comes to an end tonight on Fox and it seems we have some information on a new cast member for Season 2. E! Online is reporting that John Stamos will have a recurring arc on Glee.

It was said that Stamos will have a recurring role as a dentist who starts dating Jayma Mays' character, Emma. Stamos told the site he is, "not sure how many episodes" he will be appearing in, but the news was also confirmed to the site by executive producer Brad Falchuk.

The site is also reporting that Stamos' casting stemmed from a throwaway line said by Mays' character in the Accafellas episode, where she said, ""They say it takes certainty more than talent to make a star. I mean, look at John Stamos."

We'll certainly keep you posted on any further Glee news as soon as we have more information. The series finale episode, Journey, airs at 7 PM ET tonight on Fox.
