John Wick: Chapter 2 only recently wrapped shooting, but if you can't wait to feast your eyes on the first footage, we have a real treat for you today. It's not exactly a sneak peek at the highly anticipated sequel. Instead, it's a video of star Keanu Reeves proving why his badass assassin shouldn't be messed with. Let's just say the actor has some skills, and if a zombie apocalypse breaks out, he's the one we'd want by our side.

Lionsgate is set to release John Wick: Chapter 2 this coming Valentine's Day weekend. We'll have to wait until February 10 to see Keanu Reeves suited up and out for revenge. But thanks to Taran Tactical, we get to see the actor running an obstacle course as he shows off his epic and amazing gun skills, quickly trading one weapon for the next. It's a rough, tough ballet that's certainly greasy around the edgeds, but it comes with no VFX in place, or tricky editing. This is 100% pure Keanu Reeves displaying his action chops in real time.

In John Wick: Chapter 2, Keanu Reeves' title character will be heading to Rome. Although, no other plot details have been given at this time. Original John Wick stars Ian McShane (Winston), John Leguizamo (Aurelio), Bridget Moynahan (Helen), Thomas Sadoski (Jimmy) and Lance Reddick (Charon) have returned to reprise their roles, with new cast members including Ruby Rose, Riccardo Scamarcio and Peter Stormare. No details have been given regarding the new characters quite yet.

John Wick arrived in 2014, and, despite its critical acclaim, with an 85% "Fresh" score on Rotten Tomatoes, it wasn't a runaway blockbuster hit. It only earned $43 million off a $20 million budget, with a worldwide take of $86 million. But the film was a massive success with genre fans and critics alike. And as it continues to do well on the home video market, the sequel is sure to be a smash hit with audiences next year.

That said, John Wick: Chapter 2 will have plenty of competition, going up against three high-profile projects. Also opening on February 10 is Universal's steamy sequel Fifty Shades Darker, which started production last week, Warner Bros.' The Lego Movie spinoff The LEGO Batman Movie and 20th Century Fox's drama The Mountain Between Us, starring Charlie Hunnam and Margot Robbie. Despite all of this competition, Keanu's action epic should still fare quite well, since 20th Century Fox's Kingsman: The Secret Service posted an impressive $36.2 million opening weekend while going up against Fifty Shades of Grey last February. And that weekend is prime action movie real estate, with the R rated superhero adventure Deadpool breaking all kinds of records when it opened to the tune of $132 million during the same time frame just his past weekend.

Chad Stahelski is directing from a script by original John Wick writer Derek Kolstad. The first movie was directed by both Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, but the filmmaking partners decided to split up temporarily, with David Leitch directing The Coldest City with Charlize Theron and James McAvoy, since the duo couldn't make both films together, due to similar production schedules. Are you looking forward to John Wick: Chapter 2? Watch as King Keanu tears it up like only he can. We know this will get you excited!
