Lionsgate confirmed last month that it's bringing their highly-anticipated sequel John Wick: Chapter 2 to New York Comic Con, where the first trailer will be unveiled by star Keanu Reeves. With just a few days left until the panel, the studio has unveiled the first trailer preview, which shows just a tiny taste of the intense action fans are in store for. We'll be sure to bring you the first full trailer as soon as it arrives on Saturday afternoon.

Lionsgate debuted the trailer preview on Twitter yesterday, which expands the scene teased in the first poster. The one-sheet showed John Wick (Keanu Reeves) getting measured for a new suit, and in this trailer, we see him in Rome, meeting with an Italian tailor. The tailor asks him if this suit is for a "formal event or a social affair," with John revealing it's a social affair. John's idea of a social affair is certainly much different than ours, as he's seen taking aim at his unseen enemies with a large rifle.

John Wick 2 follows Keanu Reeves' title character, who is forced out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins' guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world's deadliest killers. Director Chad Stahelski teased in a recent interview that this sequel will expand on the world John Wick inhabits, teasing fans would learn more about the Continental Hotel and the assassins who inhabit it.

Along with Keanu Reeves returning as John Wick himself, John Wick 2 will also bring back Ian McShane as Winston, Lance Reddick as Charon, Bridget Moynahan as John's late wife Helen and Thomas Sadoski as Jimmy. Among the new cast members are Common, Ruby Rose, Peter Stormare and Laurence Fishburne, who worked with both Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski on The Matrix trilogy, which Stahelski worked on as a stuntman and stunt coordinator. Laurence Fishburne is playing a character called The Bowery King, who we hopefully get to see in the first full trailer.

John Wick: Chapter 2 will go up against Fifty Shades Darker and The LEGO Batman Movie on February 10, 2017. Last week, we showed you a photo from this sequel that shows John Wick walking his new dog across the Brooklyn Bridge, the same pooch he picked up at the very end of the first movie. Take a look at this trailer preview, and check back on Saturday for the first full trailer.
