John Wick 3: Parabellum might not be the end of the line for the iconic assassin. Director Chad Stahelski says that he and Keanu Reeves have a ton of ideas and they're both more than willing to keep the franchise going after the trilogy. There's already a TV series in the works for the Starz network called The Continental, which will center on the hotel chain that houses assassins. David Leitch is directing the pilot and Reeves is expected to make a cameo as Wick at some point. There's also the Ballerina spin-off, but it looks like Stahelski is ready to go even further.

In a new interview discussing next year's John Wick 3, Chad Stahelski revealed that he loves working on the franchise and that he doesn't want it to end. Fans are probably in the same boat, but it will all have to do with how well the third installment does at the box office. At this time, John Wick 3 is one of the most anticipated movies of 2019, so things seem to be looking good at the moment. Stahelski had this to say.

"I enjoy making these movies because there's no limit. We create our own mythology, and we have a studio that both stays out of our way and supports us on the wacky decisions. If people go see the movie, and it makes money, and they came back to us, Keanu Reeves and I have ideas for days. I could live here for the rest of my career. If people like it and want to watch more, I could think of way worse ways to spend your career. But, you know, we're in the entertainment business. We'll let the audience figure that out."

John Wick 3 will see the assassin on the run after taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. He has a $14 million bounty on his head with a one-hour grace period to get out of New York City, which Chad Stahelski says will take place at the beginning of the sequel. We've already seen some pretty intense photos of Keanu Reeves from the set trying to escape some motorcycle riders while on horseback. Things are going to be even tougher for Wick this time around, which is really saying something.

Other than that, details are being kept under wraps about the specific story details for John Wick 3. It will be interesting to see how the third installment does at the box office since the second movie was such a big hit. If all goes well, we could very well end up seeing a lot more of Keanu Reeves as the assassin in different projects.

Earlier this week, we were treated to some new photos from John Wick 3, one of which featured the titular character with Halle Berry's mysterious Sophia and her two canine friends. This has led to speculation that we will see the deaths of more dogs, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. Also, if Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves want to continue the franchise, there's probably a good chance that the assassin makes it out of the next movie alive. Again, that's just speculation, but it would be hard to do more John Wick without the main character. You can read the rest of the interview with Chad Stahelski over at Entertainment Weekly.
