Unstoppable hitman John Wick turns to his (few) friends in the latest teaser for the upcoming action movie sequel, John Wick: Chapter 4. Released courtesy of the official Twitter account for the follow-up, the clip is captioned that “Not even John Wick can do it alone.” And thankfully he won’t have to, as despite killing almost everyone he comes across, there are still a few ready to fight in Wick’s corner. Check out the new teaser for John Wick: Chapter 4 below.

At this stage in the saga, John Wick “has few friends remaining in the world...and even fewer he trusts.” But he will need all the friends and fellow assassins he can get as John Wick: Chapter 4 finds Keanu Reeves' titular assassin uncovering a path to defeating the High Table. Before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into new foes. With the price on his head ever-increasing, John Wick: Chapter 4 sees Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Osaka to Berlin.

Wick’s gang includes several familiar faces, including Laurence Fishburne as The Bowery King, Ian McShane as Winston Scott, and Lance Reddick as Charon, while introducing a few new ones as the likes of Mortal Kombat star Hiroyuki Sanada and Rogue One actor Donnie Yen join the fray, with The Mandalorian’s Natalia Tena also set to set as John Wick’s adoptive sister.

Of course, Wick will not be short of enemies either, with John Wick: Chapter 4 adding the likes of Bill Skarsgård as The Marquis de Gramont, Shamier Anderson as The Tracker, and Clancy Brown as The Harbinger, as well as Rina Sawayama, an unrecognizable Scott Adkins, and Marko Zaror. Notably, martial arts legend Donnie Yen can be included on both lists, with footage suggesting that he will begin as Wick’s friend before switching sides.

John Wick: Chapter 4 promises to be the most epic outing in the franchise so far, with a confirmed runtime of two hours and 49 minutes making the fourth movie the longest in the series by almost 20 minutes.

This should give Keanu Reeves plenty of time to once again demonstrate his affinity for action, with the actor revealing that they have taken a major element, the so-called “car-fu,” to the next level. "We took the car driving to the next level, which I really enjoy,” he said. “There's 180s, forward-into-reverse 180s, reverse-into-forward 270s, drifting ... [It] was really fun to get a chance to learn those skills, and to play."

Directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, John Wick: Chapter 4 is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on March 24, 2023.
