While chatting with a BBC radio program about Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall and the fact that it has been officially greenlit, graphic novel creator Mark Millar also revealed that both Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt are being considered for starring roles in the adaptation of his graphic novel Nemesis.

We reported a month ago that Tony Scott was directing this film, and it seems that the director definitely wants both Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt to star in his movie.

Here is what Mark Millar had to say on the subject, as transcribed by website Bleeding Cool::

"Tony Scott, brother of Ridley Scott... I just got a call from him, literally about a month ago... it was one of those very surreal things. This is a $150 million budget... he said 'Who do you fancy for it?'... I said 'I dunno, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp' so he said 'That's good, we'll give them a call.'"

Nemesis follows the story of Matt Anderson, a billionaire genius who's the world's greatest fighter. Though bent on avenging the death of his beloved parents, the twist is that they were villains and he is also a bad guy; a costumed vigilante who travels the world, picking off top cops. He returns to D.C. to launch a campaign of terror against Blake Morrow, the police chief who captured and killed the caped vigilante's parents.

While we can't confirm this bit of casting news at this time, we will be sure to update you when a casting announcement is made official.
