The partnership between Johnny Depp and Dior will go on for years to come. Per TMZ, Depp has reportedly signed a new deal with the company to stay on board as the face of the men's fragrance Sauvage. This follows the two sides first forming their partnership in 2015, and Dior is said to have spent big bucks to maintain Depp. While specific numbers weren't named, his new contract is reportedly a multi-year, seven-figure deal.

Word is that the new deal was just recently signed after Dior execs paid a visit to a rock concert in Paris featuring Depp and his musician friend Jeff Beck. With fashion photographer Greg Williams coming along, the group had reportedly done a photo shoot before and after the concert. The plan is for the new images to be used in an upcoming advertising campaign.

Financially, it has paid off for Dior to stand by Depp all throughout the actor's controversies in recent years. Amid his public feud with ex-wife Amber Heard, which included allegations of domestic abuse leveled against Depp, the actor says he was fired by Disney and Warner Bros. from major movie franchises. But Dior did not cut ties with Depp, continuing to feature the actor in Sauvage advertisements in a move that garnered a lot of praise from fans. Even before the defamation trial that saw a jury side heavily with Depp, Dior had been banking millions of dollars per day in Sauvage sales.

After Johnny Depp sued ex-wife Amber Heard with allegations that she fabricated domestic abuse claims to defame him, the jury sided heavily with Depp. Agreeing that Heard's allegations has been a hoax, the jury awarded the Aquaman actress to pay $15 in damages, though that amount was reduced to $10.35 million due to Virginia law. Depp was also found liable for one of three claims of defamation in Heard's counterclaim because of public comments made about Heard by Depp's previous attorney Adam Waldman; Heard was awarded $2 million in damages, still putting her on the hook for $8.35 million.

Depp has been keeping busy since the trial, focusing largely on music with live performances on stage with Jeff Beck. He has also announced a 2023 tour with his band Hollywood Vampires. Depp will also be soon back to starring in movies as he's been cast in the French film La Favorite which will see him playing King Louis XV.

"Six years ago, my life, the life of my children, the lives of those closest to me, and also, the lives of the people, who for many, many years have supported and believed in me were forever changed. All in the blink of an eye," Depp said in a statement shortly after the verdict was read. "It had already traveled around the world twice within a nanosecond and it had a seismic impact on my life and my career... And six years later, the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled."
