Gillian Anderson, Dominic West and Rosamund Pike have all joined the cast of the comedy sequel Johnny English Reborn, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Rowan Atkinson returns as the title character from the 2003 international smash hit Johnny English, a parody of the James Bond secret agent genre. We reported back in June that Daniel Kaluuya had also come aboard this upcoming follow-up. The plot finds Rowan Atkinson's English trying to stop a group of hitmen who are out to kill the Chinese premier.

Oliver Parker is directing the movie from a script by Hamish McColl and William Davies. Production is set to start this week, with filming to take place in Hong Kong and London.
