It seems that a new DC superhero film has found the title character's father. Variety is reporting that Jon Tenney (The Closer) has joined the cast of Green Lantern.

Tenney will portray the father of Ryan Reynolds's Hal Jordan in the film, which is currently shooting. Martin Campbell is directing the film from a script by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green.
