The Wackness' Jonathan Levine is directing Little Girl Lost for Universal Pictures, according to Heat Vision Blog.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World screenwriter Michael Bacall is adapting the Richard Aleas novel to the silver screen. The story is said to be a throwback to pulp detective novels, and it centers on a private detective who discovers that his ex-girlfriend became a stripper before she was murdered, as he tracks down who committed the crime.

Richard Aleas is the pen name of Charles Ardai, who has written episodes of the Syfy series Haven. No production schedule was given for the new project.
