If negotiations work out, Jonathan Majors may have just found his next big role. Per Deadline, the Loki star is reportedly in early talks to play NBA legend Dennis Rodman, who famously played alongside Michael Jordan with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s, for the upcoming film 48 Hours in Vegas. Rodzilla himself will be serving as an executive producer of 48 Hours in Vegas alongside Ari Lubet and Will Allegra. Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Aditya Sood are producing. A director hasn't yet been announced, though the screenplay comes from Jordan VanDina.

"There's only one Dennis Rodman," Lionsgate's Motion Picture Group President, Nathan Kahane, said in a statement when the film was announced last year. "In 1998, there was nobody on Earth who'd be more fun - or maybe more dangerous - to party with. And yet that's not even half of who he is. This movie takes you on an unforgettable ride with the myth, the legend, and also the man that Dennis is, behind everything you think you know."

He added, "We could not be more thrilled to be working with Phil, Chris, Aditya, Ari, Will, and Jordan, and above all, Dennis, whose amazing career and life will make for an off-the-wall hilarious yet completely human and emotional movie. You think you know anything about 'The Worm?' Just you wait!"

48 Hours in Vegas is not exactly a biopic about Rodman's life. Rather, it focuses specifically on one two-day period in Sin City during the 1998 NBA Finals. The movie explores the budding friendship between Rodman and his skittish assistant GM that "neither one of them ever thought was possible but will end up solving both of their problems." It's a situation that was recently brought back into the spotlight when it was talked about in the hit Chicago Bulls docuseries The Last Dance.
