Richard Ford's coming-of-age novel Wildlife is being adapted for the screen by Point Road Films. According to Variety, Jorge Gaggero has been tapped to direct the drama.
The story takes place in 1960s Montana, where a sixteen-year-old boy discovers the limits of his parents' marriage to each other. Gaggero is adapting the book into a screenplay with the help of Scott Barkman.
Point Road's John Moore and Peter Veverka will be producing the project. The film does not have a set start date at this time.
