News about Stephen Sommer's G.I. Joe has been flowing from the International Toy Fair in New York City, including an image of the movie's logo, and confirmation that Joseph Gordon-Levitt (3rd Rock from the Sun) will be playing the role of Cobra Commander. Entertainment News International reports on the news about Gordon-Levitt, as well as other hints about the film's plot.

According to their reports, Ray Park, who plays the role of Snake Eyes in the film, has actually considered getting an Arashikage clan tattoo. Also, the film will feature two different romantic sub-plots involving the Baroness (Sienna Miller) and Scarlet (Rachel Nichols) (though probably not with one another). Word also comes that the film will cover numerous locations around the world; including (but not limited to) the arctic, the bottom of the ocean, northern sierra, Moscow and Washington D.C.

At the same time, /Film has brought us a cleaned up version of the logo for the film, taken from a photo of the banner hanging at the Toy Fair.
