Joseph Gordon-Levitt has just signed onto the David Siegel/Scott McGehee drama Uncertainty. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he has also joined Darren Star's coming of age dramedy The Frog King.
Uncertainty will revolve around a young couple that is forced to make an important decision. The story will be split into two versions of the same 4th of July weekend. Siegel and McGehee wrote the script, and a lot of the dialogue will be developed in collaboration with the actors.
The Frog King stars Gordon-Levitt as a peon slaving away at a New York publishing house. His dream is to one day become a writer, but his life is thrown for a loop when his girlfriend leaves him. He must put his dreams on hold to win her back.
Uncertainty is currently shooting in Upstate New York. The Frog King will begin principle photography as soon as that film wraps.
