Joseph Gordon-Levitt was at Sundance this week, where he spoke a little bit about one of 2012's biggest releases. In The Dark Knight Rises, the actor plays Gotham City beat cop John Blake, a new addition to the cast. He was asked about the film's direct ties to Occupy Wall Street, and if those themes are going to play throughout the storyline as hinted in the trailer.

This is what Joseph Gordon-Levitt had to say about OWS and The Dark Knight Rises.

"You saw it, man. The trailer isn't misleading and Nolan's not the type of guy to create a trailer that will sell you something other than what the movie is."

The actor then revealed that he is still hoping to lock down a role in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, which has been held up by his own scheduling issues.

"I really want to do it, man. Quentin Tarantino has always been one of my very, very favorites, and just getting to know him a little bit has been such a thrill for me. He's exactly who I wanted him to be, and that doesn't always happen when you meet your heroes. He's totally that guy! He's so enthusiastic, good-natured, and just loves fuckin' movies."
