Josh Brolin has signed on to join Tommy Lee Jones and Javier Bardem in the new film, No Country for Old Men, for Miramax and Paramount Classics.

The film, being directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, is an adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel. According to Variety, Brolin will play a Vietnam vet who works in The Lone Star State plains and scoops up a bundle of cash he finds at the scene of a drug deal gone bad.

No Country for Old Men is set in West Texas in the 1980's; filming begins late spring. A 2007 release is scheduled.
