Josh Lucas is the latest actor to join the cast of Clint Eastwood's upcoming biopic J. Edgar. Lucas will portray famed pilot Charles A. Lindbergh in the drama.

After receiving worldwide acclaim for his 1927 flight across the Atlantic Ocean, Charles A. Lindbergh's son was kidnapped in 1932 and later murdered. J. Edgar Hoover was the head of The Bureau of Investigation, before it was renamed the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and was handling the case.

Clint Eastwood is directing from a script by Dustin Lance Black. It isn't clear when production will start on J. Edgar.

We also reported last week that Josh Lucas is one of the actors in the running to star in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. It isn't known yet if this J. Edgar role will affect his chances for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
