Justin Kurzel, the director of the 2015 movie Macbeth, starring Michael Fassbender, is coming to the big screen with a new thriller, according to a report from Deadline. King Richard's screenwriter Zach Baylin, nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, will adapt and pen the script.

The Order will be adapted from Kevin Flynn's 1989 book The Silent Brotherhood. The book tells the dreadful story of the most dangerous fascist underground terrorist organization in US history. Two investigative journalists embark on a dangerous mission in the early 1980s about The Silent Brotherhood, the most dangerous white supremacist group since the Ku Klux Klan.

Ben Jackson, Stephen Fuss, Jeremy Saulnier, Zach Garrett, Kate Susman, Jude Law, and director Kurzel and screenwriter Baylin will serve in the film as executive producers. AGC Studios finances the project.

Jude Law will play the FBI agent from Idaho, and Nicholas Hoult will star as the leader of the terrorist organization. The other names that will be in the movie's cast are not yet known.

Kurzel had directed the adaptation of Ubisoft's bestselling game franchise Assassin's Creed, which received poor reviews from critics and fans upon release. However, Nitram, the director's 2021 film about the 1996 Port Arthur massacre in Tasmania, has received a very positive critics consensus. His previous film, 2019's True History of the Kelly, starring George MacKay, Charlie Hunnam, and Nicholas Hoult, is another well-received period thriller from the Australian director.

Following the X-Men films, Nicholas Hoult continued to rise in his career in Hulu's popular series The Great with Elle Fanning, a historical and satirical black comedy-drama based on Catherine the Great, and Mark Mylod's The Menu, starring Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy. In addition, the Primetime Emmy-nominated actor will star alongside Willem Dafoe, Bill Skarsgård, and Lily-Rose Depp in author-director Robbert Eggers' upcoming Nosferatu remake and in Renfield as Dracula's servant with Nicolas Cage this April.

Law will play Captain Hook in David Lowery's (Ghost Story, Green Knight) Disney movie Peter Pan & Wendy. Also, the actor will play the lead role in another Disney project, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Law will also portray Henry VIII in Firebrand, the story of Queen of England Catherine Parr. He will return to his iconic Dr. Watson role in the highly anticipated Sherlock Holmes sequel.

Filming will begin in Canada in May, and there is no official date for a worldwide release yet.
