Controversial WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will be heading to the silver screen with a new biopic from Josephson Entertainment. An upcoming biography entitled The Most Dangerous Man In the World, written by Andrew Fowler was optioned by both Josephson Entertainment and Michelle Krumm Productions.

The book will be published later this year by the Australian publishing house Melbourne University Publishing, which will chronicle Julian Assange's life from his early childhood all the way up to the founding of WikiLeaks and the controversy surrounding the site.

Michelle Krumm and Barry Josephson will produce the untitled biopic with L.H. Adonis serving as co-producer.

Julian Assange founded WikiLeaks in 2006 and since then has published documents about the American government's involvement in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Church of Scientology manuals and documents on Guantanamo Bay procedures.
