Dwayne Johnson has shared a new picture from the set of Disney's Jungle Cruise movie. Johnson shared the image in honor of completion of the reshoots, which he jumped into after finishing off principal photography on Jumanji 3. The actor and former professional wrestler doesn't apparently need sleep to function like the rest of the human race and seems to run off of his insane work ethic. Whatever the case may be, Johnson seems to be having a good time doing what he's doing.

The Jungle Cruise image features Dwayne Johnson and actress Emily Blunt as he shoots the actor some daggers. It appears as if Blunt's character doesn't particularly enjoy Johnson's company, which the actor eludes to in the caption. Johnson had this to say about finally wrapping the movie.

"If Emily Blunt's looks could kill... Ladies and gents, that's an OFFICIAL WRAP of production for our Disney's Jungle Cruise. To our hard working and brilliant crew and filmmakers - THANK YOU for your commitment and talent in making something great for our audience. THANK YOU to our partner & leader of global family entertainment, the Walt Disney Co. for the trust you've placed in our hands for our beloved, timeless, iconic Disney park ride known as Jungle Cruise.

And finally, a heartfelt MAHALO to my one and only co-star, Emily Blunt. You play the female version of Indiana Jones brilliantly with relentless ambition to find the one, elusive magical thing that could change humanity for the better - forever. Unfortunately, for you there's no other skipper that knows the Amazon River like I do and all I care about is my money, my liquor and my cat. Good luck lady in trying to change the world ~ and not falling for my charm. So much fun making this film and we can't wait to take you all on this EPIC adventure. That's a wrap! And I'll see ya down the road."

Disney's Jungle Cruise, based on the iconic Disneyland ride, was originally announced back in 2015. However, it took a little over three years to finally begin shooting. Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, and Paul Giamatti star in the upcoming movie, but Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were attached at one time not that long ago. While the reshoots are now complete, the movie's release date has been pushed back to 2020 after originally coming out this October. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is taking its spot.

Even with principal photography being wrapped on the latest live-action adventure from Disney, not much is known about the Jungle Cruise plot. With that being said, it is believed that Emily Blunt's character is out to find the mystical Tree of Life and needs Dwayne Johnson's witty riverboat captain to lead her there. Edgar Ramirez is reportedly playing the villain in the movie. The movie has been compared to Indiana Jones and Johnson brought this up in his caption.

Jungle Cruise hits theaters on July 24th, 2020. Disney is enjoying the success of Aladdin at the box office right now and looking forward to watching their Lion King remake open later this summer. As for Emily Blunt, she is preparing for A Quiet Place 2, while Dwayne Johnson has the release of Hobbs & Shaw to look forward to later this summer.
