Dinosaur fever is spreading throughout the nation after the first trailer for Jurassic World debuted earlier this week, along with new details from director Colin Trevorrow yesterday. Today, Universal Pictures has updated the official website for this highly-anticipated adventure, which includes a viral video and photos of a few of the different dinosaurs. The viral video is essentially an advertisement for the Isla Nublar Hilton resort, showcasing the numerous amenities this hotel and resort has to offer.
The website itself is chocked full of tidbits, some of which reference the original 1993 classic, Jurassic Park. The park features a restaurant named Winston's, a reference to the late Stan Winston, who designed the dinosaur animatronics for the original Jurassic Park. If you look at the restaurant's menu, the top right entree is the Chilean Sea Bass, the same meal that the original Jurassic Park characters had before going on their mission. There is also a meet and greet with the nefarious Mr. DNA.
If that wasn't enough, we also have two photos of the sequel's brand new dinosaur, known as the Diabolus Rex, a.k.a. D-Rex. The D-Rex was created since park visitors wanted to see a dinosaur that is even bigger than the T-Rex. Take a look at the D-Rex images below, along with the viral video and several other images from the official site.
