Jason Momoa is being made to look like the breakout hero in next winter's superhero epic Justice League. If we ever get anything new from the set, it's Aquaman related. And the same is true today, with director Zack Snyder giving us another sneak peek at the King of Atlantas. If that weren't enough to tide you over until the official full-length trailer arrives, we also have an interesting new video from Momoa, who delves into this crazy past year as he sets off on his Aquaman journey.

The first trailer for Justice League premiered during Comic-Con 2014 and was released online soon after. It featured unfinished footage as shooting was ongoing at the time. Soon after, Zack Snyder also released a thrilling behind-the-scenes video that showered fans with even more exciting footage. But it's been fairly quiet ever since. Today, we get an image, on a TV screen no less, that shows us Aquaman onshore, wrapped in a big comfortable coat. We presume this is a shot from the incoming second trailer, which could arrive at any minute.

Zack Snyder shared the image from his personal Vero account. Jason Momoa simultaneously decided to give us a more candid behind-the-scenes sneak peek of his entire life, which includes some select Aquaman footage during its lengthy eight and a half minute runtime. You can watch that video in the embed below. This is the description that comes along with this video showcase.

"Long before Hollywood got ahold of Jason Momoa and turned him into a savage warlord and our latest superhero, he was just a kid who grew up the son of an artist from a family of builders and hunters from a small town in Iowa. Raised by a strong single mother, he craved everything his mom opened his eyes to, from art to music to rock climbing and skateboarding. All of this left a deep sense of adventure in his blood. This is the story of a man hell-bent on remaining that kid, no matter how big he gets or where the world takes him. Because family, "My Ohana" as Jason likes to say, is all that matters to him.Because being a father, a great father, is all Jason ever wanted with his life. This is Jason's journey to answer that same question every father should answer. How will your kids remember you?"

Pretty deep for a Thursday morning, we know. It was previously revealed that Aquaman would shoot in both Australia and France. Now, The Hollywood Reporter is confirming that the Australian and Queensland governments have confirmed shooting at Village Roadshow Studios in South East Queensland on the Gold Coast. Production is set to begin next year under the direction of James Wan. This will be the first time Wan has shot in his homeland since making his breakout horror debut Saw.

Jason Momoa stars in Aquaman, with Amber Heard appearing as his wife Mera. Just this past week, Patrick Wilson, who has starred in James Wan's The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, joined the superhero adventure, set to play Ocean Master Orm, who is being set up as a future villain. The standalone Justice League spin-off will hit theaters October 15, 2018. It was also confirmed yesterday that The Batman standalone movie directed by and starring Ben Affleck will get a 2018 release date.
