In just a few short days, Justice League Part 1 will begin production at Leavesden Studios in the U.K., under the direction of Zack Snyder, with a November 17, 2017 release date in place. While no cast members have been officially confirmed, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) will most likely unite with Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (The Flash) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), who were introduced in brief cameos. As it turns out, this superhero ensemble may feature the return of the villainous Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), according to a cryptic post from the LexCorp Instagram page, which teases something big is coming in 2017

"We hope we haven't lost you as our valuable client. #LexCorp Something big is coming. Our newest project will be fully functioning by 2017. Thank you for standing by our side. #timeforchange"

This Instagram post comes just a few days after another message was posted, fittingly, on April Fools Day, announcing that LexCorp is "temporarily suspending its global operations." The post even included a quote from Luthor himself, who asked "Are we entering the second round?" The company also tried to distance itself from Luthor, claiming, "We do not understand Mr. Luthor's actions and LexCorp does not take responsibility for his actions," so it's possible that LexCorp's big project may have nothing to do with Lex Luthor himself, especially given the ending of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

At the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Lex Luthor was thrown in prison, giving fans our first look at the villain's traditional bald look. There have been rumors that he could appear in Suicide Squad, although they have not yet been confirmed, and we don't know for sure if there are plans in place to bring him back in any of the other DC Comics movies. Then again, if LexCorp is teasing something big for 2017, it very well could tie into either Wonder Woman (June 23, 2017) or Justice League Part 1 (November 17, 2017).

It's also worth noting that, last week, a deleted scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice surfaced, featuring Lex Luthor, which teased both Darkseid and the New Gods. Some fans have already speculated on the LexCorp Instagram page that this future LexCorp project may very well be the supercomputer Brainiac, one of the most important villains in DC lore, which very well could be introduced in Justice League Part 1, to help set him up as the villain in Justice League Part 2.
