While Justice League director Zack Snyder isn't as prolific on social media as other directors, when he does post something, it makes headlines. Earlier today, the filmmaker revealed our first look at the "Tactical Batsuit" Ben Affleck has been wearing on the set of Justice League. This Batsuit represents quite the significant upgrade for Bruce Wayne's alter-ego.

Zack Snyder showcased this new photo on Twitter, announcing that today is the last day they will be filming with this particular Batsuit, hinting tht they are in the "homestretch" of production. Filming began on Justice League in mid-April at Leavesden Studios in the U.K., although Zack Snyder took a break in filming to unveil the first trailer at Comic-Con. We don't know for sure when production will fully wrap, but that may happen soon, bringing this five-month shoot to an end.

The entire Justice League cast gathered last week to show support for the Rezpect Our Water campaign to stop an oil pipeline from going through an Indian reservation, a cause that Jason Momoa has championed in the past. Most fans noticed that Henry Cavill was not present in that video, fueling speculation that he had already wrapped on Justice League. Very little is known about how large or small a role his character Superman will have, especially after he "died" at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The final shot of that movie let fans know that the Man of Steel wasn't really dead, and he'll definitely be back in Justice League.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), to face an even greater enemy in Justice League. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller)-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

The Justice League cast also includes J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko. Zack Snyder is directing from a script by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer, with Warner Bros. setting a November 17, 2017 release date for Justice League, with the second, untitled Justice League movie set for release on June 14, 2019. Check out this new photo from the Justice League set, featuring our first look at the Tactical Batsuit.
