The rallying cry around #ReleaseTheSnyderCut won't die down, and no doubt movie fans everywhere are becoming quite tired of news surrounding the Snyder Cut. Whether they are just desperate to see the final product and are sick of being teased, or whether they are just tired of hearing about, surely Warner Bros. will have to do something eventually to put an end to it all.
Something that has just emerged though that is sure to get everyone excited, and heavily suggests that the Snyder Cut could well be very different to the theatrical release version of Justice League, is a newly released picture of actor Henry Cavill wearing the famous black version of the Superman suit.
Delivered to us by Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and original Justice League director Zack Snyder, the image is paired with a very simple message from Snyder himself.
"My Superman."
Says it all really, doesn't it? Even though the image is just a behind-the-scenes costume test shot, in the comments Snyder adds even more fuel to the Snyder Cut fire, confirming that in his version Superman did indeed sport the black suit.
"Let's put it this way, in Zack Snyder's Justice League, he will have a black suit"
Though the suit is very much just the red and blue suit painted black, it is still wonderful to see, with Henry Cavill looking like the Man of Steel from the pages of DC comics come to life. The image and comments from Snyder also strongly suggest that the third act of Justice League would have been very different to what audiences got in the end, with the suit no doubt making an appearance after Superman's resurrection. Though of course a dead giveaway of this is the telltale CGI mouth of Cavill throughout the Justice League finale, which of course were all Joss Whedon reshoots.
As is usually the case where Snyder Cut news is concerned, fans are losing it, coming out in force on social media to once again cry out for the release of Snyder's version of the movie.
"What the fuck...no...Why the fuck...nah...Who the fuck sees Black Suit #Superman, Martian Manhunter, the Lantern Corps and the goddamn #Darkseid and decides Nah, no one will want to see that in a JL movie. Take that shit out. WHO?! We just wanna talk! #ReleaseTheSnyderCut."
This particular Snyder Cut fanatic calls out the studio for denying audiences all of the extra additions that Snyder would have supposedly brought to the DC team-up, and really it is impossible to argue with such passionate reasoning.
"There is so much to all this...the surface hasn't even been scratched. #ReleaseTheSnyderCut."
Another fan says what many must be thinking, that this black suit reveal is a mere drop in the ocean when it comes to the differences between Snyder's vision and the one we got, which is echoed further by many fans across, including the one below who are now convinced that the Snyder Cut is a vastly different movie.
"I'll say it again.... The SnyderCut is a COMPLETELY different movie than the theatrical JL/JossticeLeague NOT an extended cut... a Different story arc 3.5hr story, not a cut/paste -2hr abomination #ReleaseTheSnyderCut @warnerbros"
