Warner Home Video has announced the DVD release of Justice League: The New Frontier which will be coming to the shelves on February 26. Not only will this animated flick get the full treatment with standard, HD DVD and Blu-Ray formats, but they're going even farther than that. Also on February 26, the movie will be available in On Demand, Pay-Per-View and will also be available for download. The movie will be available in a regular editon (SRP: $19.99) or a 2-disc special edition (SRP: $24.98) with more special features. The movie stars the voices of David Boreanaz, Brooke Shields, Lucy Lawless, Neil Patrick Harris, Miguel Ferrer, Kyra Sedgwick, Jeremy Sisto and Kyle MacLachlan.
Synopsis
The New Frontier takes viewers on an action-packed adventure, exploring the origins of the Justice League. DC Comics legends Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are all featured in the film as well as Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and The Flash - as they band together to form the legendary super team. Strangers at first, these very different heroes must overcome fear and suspicion to forge an alliance against a monster so formidable, even the mighty Superman cannot stop it alone. If they fail, the entire planet will be "cleansed" of humanity.
