Season 2 of the Kaley Cuoco-starring The Flight Attendant has wrapped filming, with the actress confirming the news via her Instagram account. While the actress is still best known for her long-running role as Penny in The Big Bang Theory, she has recently gained great acclaim for her voice role in DC’s animated Harley Quinn series, and the first season of The Flight Attendant. Now that filming is done on the second season of the murder mystery show, Cuoco wanted to make sure that her gratitude to all who worked on the series is known.

In her Instagram post, the actress wrote, “That’s an official wrap on season 2 [of The Flight Attendant] 3 countries , 7 months , mega highs and lows, Covid etc! What a cast, what a crew, what a team!! There are no words to describe my gratitude. Can’t wait for you to see what we did!” Cuoco posted an image of herself outside the Warner Bros. Studio, along with videos of a speech she gave to the crew expressing her love for all of them. In the video she said:

“It has been an unbelievable seven months. This has been a huge team effort. This has been the strangest life imitating art for me that I have ever had in my career. I would never have been able to get through this without each of you. One of you saved me each day for the last seven months and I owe you all the biggest thank you. I know I end up being the face of this and I am well aware that is not the true case. Each of you made this a dream and worked so hard. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, this flight has been so unbelievable, it came to me years ago and the fact that this is where we are, you’ve all helped me get to this point. This is a dream come true and I could not have gotten through it without you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

Kaley Cuoco Can't Stop Crying After Getting Her First Golden Globes Nomination in 30 Years

The Flight Attendant was originally intended to be a limited series on HBO Max, but its popularity changed that. The first season introduced Cuoco’s character, Cassie, the flight attendant of the title who fills her life with one-night stands and plenty of alcohol, but finds herself embroiled in a murder mystery when she wakes up to find her latest fling has been murdered. After the first season came to an end, HBO announced in December 2020 that a new season would be coming soon.

Although there are no details known about the second series, but it was reported last year that Sharon Stone would be joining the cast as Cassie's mom, it seems most likely that Cuoco’s character accepted the offer of work from the CIA. With the series seemingly set to once again see Cassie trotting around the globe, we can expect more of the same tense drama that the first season brought along with the subsequent awards nominations that flooded in for the premiere season. It isn’t too long to wait for Cassie’s new adventure to arrive on screens, with the second season set to debut in the spring.
