<strong><em>Kane & Lynch</em></strong>
French director Patrick Alessandrin has parted ways with Kane & Lynch, a film based on the popular third-person multi-platform shooter from Eidos Interactive, starring Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx, according to 24 Frames.

Running Scared director Wayne Kramer and The Italian Job director F. Gary Gray, who at various points were in talks to take the directing reins, are now back in consideration, but no director has been confirmed.

Kane & Lynch tells the story of two death row inmates who break out of jail and embark on a big bank job.

Kane & Lynch was ready to start shooting next month, but with the departure of Patrick Alessandrin, the movie is not likely to start production until the first quarter of 2011 at the earliest.
