Kanye West has a hand in a brand new hip-hop puppet show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, West will host and executive produce an untitled pilot for Comedy Central that is described as, "hip-hop meets The Muppets, tentatively titled Alligator Boots.

A half-hour pilot has been shot for the project, which is also being produced by Jackhole Productions, which was founded by Jimmy Kimmell, Adam Corolla and Daniel Kellison, who created Comedy Central's last puppet outing, Crank Yankers.

The series would feature West hosting and performing alongside fellow rapper/executive producer Rhymefest and the plan is to have a different celebrity guest host on each episode.

The series is being considered for a 2009 debut.
