Kathie Lee Gifford has joined the NBC morning show Today as its fourth hour co-host. According to Variety, this will be her first regular TV gig since quitting Live with Regis and Kathie Lee in 2000.

Starting April 7th, Gifford will act as co-host alongside Hoda Kotb, replacing Ann Curry. Curry will continue to anchor the program for its first two hours, and then she will co-host the third hour with Al Roker and Natalie Morales.

Today executive producer Jim Bell confirmed Gifford as a co-host by stating, "She is a morning television icon and (someone who) is on a short list of personalities known by her first name alone."
