Fans of the John Wick franchise were eager for new details about the film, but they didn't expect to hear them from Keanu Reeves himself. He spilled new details about the upcoming John Wick spin-off, Ballerina, at CCXP in Brazil. According to Reeves, we can expect to see John Wick for "a few sequences" in Ballerina.

"I got to be in it, so I'm in it for a few sequences. So that was nice. They're filming right now, and the script's great, the story's cool. Looking forward to it." Ballerina is the first film in the John Wick franchise to feature a new assassin as the protagonist. Ana de Armas will play the main character in the movie, which is now in development. Reeves hinted at what to expect from her.

"[She is a] woman who has some very difficult circumstances and who's looking for revenge. Whoever killed her-someone killed her father. Who could that be? And so it's her journey for actually understanding her past. She lost her father at a young age, and she doesn't really know what happened. Only that someone came into the house and killed her father, who had a tattoo. And as we know in John Wick, if you have a tattoo, something's going on. "

The John Wick franchise is a series of action films following the character John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves. The first film was released in 2014 and follows John, a former hitman who comes out of retirement after sadistic mobster Iosef Tarasov (Alfie Allen) and his thugs steal John's prized car and kill the puppy that was a last gift from his deceased wife. In John Wick: Chapter 2, he is bound by an unbreakable blood debt to the Italian mafia lord, Santino D'Antonio, and with his prized 1969 Mustang still missing, John Wick is obliged to return to fulfill his vow. Wick must fight his way through the streets of New York in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum after previously being labeled excommunicado for gunning down a member of the High Table.

Keanu Reeves isn't the only big name in the cast of Ballerina. Some crossover characters join him in the movie, including Anjelica Huston and Ian McShane. Anjelica Huston will be playing the Director, the head of the Ruska Roma. Ian McShane reprises his role as Winston, the New York Continental Hotel manager. McShane has been a cornerstone of the John Wick franchise since his debut in the first film. He'd go on to work with Reeves on both sequels and the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4.

Lance Reddick will also reprise his role as Charon, the Continental's concierge. With such impressive actors in Ballerina, fans will surely be in for a treat. It's not every day that you get to see such an experienced cast work their magic – and if the other John Wick movies are anything to go by, this one is sure to be thrilling.

All in all, it sounds like Ballerina is going to be an exciting addition to the John Wick franchise. While fans won't see much of Keanu Reeves in the John Wick spin-off, the fact that he'll be making a cameo appearance is intriguing.
