Chris Rock opted not to file charges against Will Smith over the infamous slap that occurred at the Oscars in March, but one member of the Rock family has his sights set on delivering justice in another way. Per TMZ, Rock's younger brother, actor and entrepreneur Kenny Rock, has just signed a deal for a fight this summer in Florida with Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman. An opponent hasn't been set for the younger Rock at this time.

While the search is now on for Kenny's opponent, Rock says he's hoping for it to be Smith, publicly challenging the actor to duke it out with him in the ring. While Smith has the size advantage and sort-of has experience by playing legendary boxer Muhammad Ali in a 2001 biopic, Rock is confident in his abilities to come out the winner in the hypothetical fight. Should the Smith fight not happen, Rock says he's willing to fight "anybody" else who's ready to step up, but it seems that the Ali star is his dream opponent. Here's what he had to say when asked if his brother Chris should fight Smith in the ring.

"No, they shouldn't, but I should get in the ring with Will Smith... Yes [I could beat Smith], no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I'll let the hands do the talking."

On the subject, Rock says that his brother Chris is "doing great," though "doubt[s] very seriously" that Chris has accepted Smith's Instagram apology for the incident. Kenny Rock also spoke about how he felt about Smith's 10-year Oscars ban. He seems to be satisfied with the decision, just as long as the Academy stands by it for a full decade as promised.

"We'll have to see if he's actually going to get the 10-year ban. They might say a 10-year ban and after three years they'll think that we may have forgot about it, and slide him in there after two years, after three years, after five years, so we have to make sure these people are going to do what they say they're going to do."

Soon after the Oscars slap happened, Kenny also said how much it disturbed him to watch the footage in a separate interview with the L.A. Times. As Rock says, it was not only the violence against his brother that was upsetting, but that Smith chose to belittle Chris with so many people watching from around the world.

"It eats at me watching it over and over again because you’ve seen a loved one being attacked and there’s nothing you can do about it. Every time I’m watching the videos, it’s like a rendition that just keeps going over and over in my head. My brother was no threat to him and you just had no respect for him at that moment. You just belittled him in front of millions of people that watch the show."

Will Smith hasn't responded to the Celebrity Boxing challenge at this time. Meanwhile, Rock's fight is scheduled to go down on June 11 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

The day after the Oscars slap, Will Smith issued a public apology to Chris Rock on Instagram. Smith says that Rock's joke about his wife's "medical condition," a reference to alopecia, had caused him to react violently; Kenny Rock says C The actor also said he felt "embarrassed" and expressed regret that his actions had taken the focus away from all of the other nominees and winners from that night's ceremony.

When it was announced that the Academy was considering consequences for Smith, the actor formally resigned as a member. The Academy then concluded its review of the incident by announcing a 10-year ban from the Oscars and other events associated with the Academy for Smith.
