Kevin Hart has signed on to star alongside NBA superstar LeBron James in Ballers.

The actor is also re-writing the script with Joey Wells, Chris Spencer and Harry Ratchford. The story follows a man (Kevin Hart) who has spent his life living in the shadow of his NBA superstar brother (LeBron James). He gets a chance to shine during a weekend fantasy basketball camp in Miami.

The script was originally written by Lowell Ganz, Babaloo Mandel and Peter Steinfeld, which had Malcolm D. Lee once attached to direct back in 2010.
