Kill Bill: Vol. 2: According to Variety, Miramax is releasing Kill Bill Vol. 2 on DVD just four months after its theatrical preem, which itself was just three days after "Vol. 1" debuted on DVD.
The second part of Quentin Tarantino's two-part saga arrives on DVD Aug. 10. "Vol. 2" has grossed about $58 million at U.S. theaters, down from the $70 million of the original, which was released theatrically last October.
Like the "Vol. 1" disc, the DVD for "Vol. 2" has few bonus features: a featurette, a clip featuring a performance by Robert Rodriguez's band Chingon at the movie's premiere and a deleted scene.
Tarantino and Miramax execs have said one or more special editions of each movie will come later, as will a DVD set with the two movies combined as one.
