Kill Bill Vol. 2: According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill-Vol. 2 from Miramax and Buena Vista Home Entertainment battled its way to the top of the sales and rental charts this week.

The Uma Thurman starrer debuted atop Video Store magazine's list of top rental titles for the week ending Aug. 15 and also landed at first on Nielsen VideoScan's DVD First Alert sales chart for the week.

"Bill 2" quickly made nearly 24% of its boxoffice take in rentals in its first five days, raking in $15.7 million, according to Video Store. It sold a whopping 903,736 copies on DVD, nearly five times as many as its closest competitor. BVHE's Kill Bill-Vol. 1 also saw a big sales bump, shooting to No. 7 on the First Alert DVD sales chart with more than 81,000 copies sold.
