Perhaps the next celebrity to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Kim Kardashian. Though best known for her reality TV work which includes the new Hulu series The Kardashians, Kardashian has had some limited acting work over the years. This includes appearances in movies like Disaster Movie, Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, and Ocean's 8. More recently, she hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live and provided the voice of Delores in the animated feature film PAW Patrol: The Movie.

In a new interview with Interview Magazine, Kardashian touched on her acting career. She was asked if she had any plans to act again after doing the PAW Patrol film, and she explained that she's open to taking on more roles if a fun opportunity comes along. Kardashian specifically names a Marvel movie as something she'd be happy to do. From the interview:

"Would I act? I would if something fun came about. Maybe a Marvel movie, that would be so fun to do. I’m not actively looking, but I think things just come when they’re supposed to."

It's not a big surprise to see Kardashian open to joining the MCU, as she is a fan of Marvel movies. When Spider-Man: No Way Home was released last year, she watched the movie and posted photos on Instagram of the movie's ending. The post did spark some backlash at the time as it spoiled the surprise for many of her followers who hadn't yet seen the film, though it does show how much she enjoys watching Marvel movies.

Kim Kardashian Impressed With Her Saturday Night Live Episode

Some fans of Kardashian would be happy to see her join the MCU as well as appearing in other projects following her acclaimed performance on Saturday Night Live. Last year, Kardashian hosted an episode of the sketch comedy series and had managed to impress with her work in the opening monologue as well as the various skits. A Marvel movie is obviously different from a sketch comedy show but still shows how Kardashian can shine when put into the right spot.

In any case, for now, fans will have to check out The Kardashians on Hulu if they want to see more of Kim. The first season debuted in April with season 2 arriving later this month. The show serves as a follow-up to the hit E! series Keeping Up with the Kardashians by following the lives of sisters Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, and their mother, Kris Jenner.

The second season of The Kardashians will premiere on Hulu on Sept. 22, 2022.
