After the success of Kingsman: The Secret Service, no one was surprised that 20th Century Fox was moving forward with Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle. Taron Egerton returns to star as Eggsy, with a number of high-profile stars coming aboard, including Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Elton John and Julianne Moore, just to name a few. Now we have word from Taron Egerton himself that filming has wrapped. The actor also teased some new details during an appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival.

While we don't know exactly when filming wrapped, Taron Egerton spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the Toronto Film Festival, where he attended the world premiere screening of his upcoming animated movie Sing. The actor wouldn't go into specifics, aside from the fact that filming had wrapped, while teasing that fans will love the sequel. Here's what Taron Egerton had to say below.

"It's great man. We just finished. It's going to blow everyone away."

We caught a glimpse of Channing Tatum in the first set photos that surfaced in May, where the actor was spotted near the Kingsman tailor shop. While we don't know for sure if Channing Tatum is playing a Kingsman agent, Taron Egerton revealed that he got to spend some time with the actor between takes, although he was only on set for a few weeks. Here's what he had to say about working with Channing Tatum.

"He was only around for a couple of weeks, he's such a great guy. He's such a great guy and he's brilliant in the movie. It's gonna be great."

Unfortunately, Taron Egerton didn't shed any light on the return of Colin Firth's Harry Hart in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Writer-director Matthew Vaughn had teased last year that he may have a way for the character to return, despite being killed by the villainous Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson) towards the end of Kingsman: The Secret Service. While we still don't know how he'll come back to life, Colin Firth was spotted on in costume, thanks to photos from the set posted by his co-star Pedro Pascal.

The plot reportedly centers on Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Merlin (Mark Strong) visiting the U.S., where they meet Halle Berry's character and a "swaggering, sharpshooting cowboy" called Jack Daniels, played by Pedro Pascal. That report also revealed the U.S. version of Kingsman is an organization known as the Statesmen, while we saw concept art of Julianne Moore's villainous lair, known as Poppyland. Now that filming has wrapped on Kingsman 2, the wait for the first trailer begins.
