Sils Maria stars Juliette Binoche as a Swiss actress who becomes obsessed with a young starlet (Chloe Moretz), after she landed the same role that made her famous years ago. Kristen Stewart will play the assistant to Juliette Binoche's character, with Daniel Brühl, Mia Wasikowska, and Tom Sturridge co-starring.
Olivier Assayas is directing from his own original screenplay, with production slated to begin this summer in Europe. IFC Flms acquired the project for distribution at Cannes earlier this month.
Kristen Stewart will then move on to Camp X-Ray, where she plays a young woman who signs up for the Army to get away from her small town. Instead of being shipped off to Iraq, the soldier is assigned to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where she becomes friends with a prisoner who has spent eight years in lock-up.
Gina Kwon and Sophia Lin are producing, with David Gordon Green, Lindsay Williams and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein executive producing. Production will begin in late summer.
