After the cheating scandal between Kristen Stewart and her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, it was believed that Snow White and the Huntsman 2 would not have the star and the director on the same set. That notion seems to be holding up, though a new report indicates that Kristen Stewart is back on board for this sequel, with Rupert Sanders departing the project.

We reported in June, just one week after Snow White and the Huntsman debuted, that Rupert Sanders, Kristen Stewart, and Chris Hemsworth were in talks to return. However, when the infidelity scandal broke, we reported in August that Kristen Stewart was fired, with Rupert Sanders returning to direct from a script by David Koepp. It seems the tables have turned once again, with Kristen Stewart now returning alongside Chris Hemsworth, and Rupert Sanders leaving to focus on saving his marriage. Here's what an insider had to say.

"The script has already been written and production will begin late next year. However, Rupert Sanders definitely won't be a part of the project. Rupert didn't want to be a part of it to begin with because he is desperately still trying to save his marriage. The search is still on for a new director."

The unnamed source also reveals that the actress is worried about her overall career, with no other projects lined up at this time.

"Kristen is extremely concerned about her acting career. Other than the Snow White sequel she isn't attached to any other projects. There are scripts coming in, but not as many good ones as she would like. It's distressing to Kristen that Rob (Pattinson) is attached to four separate movies over the next year-and-a-half. Even her Twilight co-stars, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene, are more in demand than ever, with both committed to two different movies each. Kristen just hopes that that the fallout over her relationship with Rupert doesn't hurt her career."
